“My house had been infested with stink bugs for about eight months. I was pulling my hair out of my head dealing with this annoyance and didn’t know where to turn. My friend directed me to this website and although I was skeptical at first (I thought I had tried EVERYTHING) I ended up ordering the guide and all I can say is YES! It worked. Three months later and still no stink bugs!”

What are Stink Bugs?

Stink Bugs are a super family of insects that migrated to the US from Japan. The story is said that they were transported over inside cargo trains to the eastern seaboard of the US, and have been here ever since. Also commonly referred to as shield bugs, Pentatomoidea have glands in their thorax between the first and second pair of legs which produce a foul smelling liquid, hence the stink and their more common nickname, the Stink Bug. This liquid is used as a defense mechanism against potential predators. The liquid is also sometimes dispersed when handled awkwardly.

Adults are approximately 17 mm long (25 mm = one inch) and are shades of brown on both the upper and lower body surfaces. They are the shape of a shield, almost as wide as they are long.
